The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (Singapore) is a non-stock, non-profit
association organized in 2003 for the primary purpose of bringing together the UP Alumni in
various parts of Singapore. The organization seeks to devote its efforts to the advancement
of the UP Cause and Ideals as well as pioneer in the identification, conceptualization and
implementation of projects for the benefit of the UP campus and the community at large.
Our Vision
We, alumni from various academic units of the University of the Philippines currently
residing and/or working in Singapore, voluntarily unite ourselves to form a chapter of
the UP Alumni Association in order to strengthen our capacity as a global community of
institutions of higher learning.
Our Mission
The Association has the following objectives:
- To provide for organized alumni assistance to the University in the fulfillment
of its mission as an academic institution;
- To coordinate projects and activities that benefit University students and University alumni;
- To help strengthen the University to play its vital role in the development of the Philippine society and of the Filipino nation;
- To promote the welfare of Filipinos in Singapore and members of the Association; and
- To provide opportunities for members of the Association and graduates of other universities to meet one another and provide facilities for interaction and exchange.
