UP Alumni in Singapore Connect with UP Open University Delegates
As part of the UP VINTA Launching in Singapore on October 27, 2024, delegates from the University of the Philippines (UP) were delighted to meet with members of the UP Alumni Association Singapore (UPAAS). This valuable gathering provided a key opportunity for the Alumni Association to discuss potential partnerships and collaborations between the organizations.
The UP System and UPOU officials who attended the meeting on October 26, 2024, included: UP President Atty. Angelo Jimenez; UP Vice President for Legal Affairs Atty. Abraham Rey Acosta; UP AVP for Academics (Student Affairs) Ma. Shari Nina G. Oliquino; UPOU Chancellor Dr. Melinda dP. Bandalaria; UPOU Office of Public Affairs Director Dr. Myra Almodiel; and UPOU OVCAA Program Development Associate for Institutional Linkages Asst. Prof. Margaret J. Suarez.
Warmly welcoming the UP System and UPOU delegates were the UPAAS Management Committee Members: Vice President Ejae Magno, Secretary Nina Reyes, Assistant Secretary & Ex-President Jennel Saludades, Chair Membership Committee Tricia Dimaano, Assistant Chair Scholarship Committee Dianne Rivas, and UPAAS Founding Members & Ex-Presidents Mary Ann Chua, Minerva Lau, and Portia Ho.
UPAAS was thrilled to host the UP System and UPOU delegates during the UP VINTA Launching in Singapore. This meeting was a significant step towards fostering impactful collaborations, and we eagerly anticipate strengthening our ties with UP.
