We are having the 6th AGM of UPAAS at Marina Barrage, the latest downtown icon in town. A cosy seminar room – Courtyard Room – at the 2nd floor of the building, has been made available to UPAAS. Entrance is at the left side of the whole structure, just next to the start of the climb to the green roof. And didn’t you know? Marina Barrage was designed by a Filipino architect.
There are available tours of MB, and so you may want to come earlier, prior to the meeting.
Shuttle buses between Marina MRT and Marina Barrage ply every 10 minutes on weekends and public holidays. The operating hours of the shuttle bus are from 9am-9pm. Check out their website for more details |

This is an opportunity to find out what kept UPAASians busy during the last 12 months. Or it may just be a chance to catch up with friends you have not seen since the last AGM, or just a few weeks ago. With all the walks, talks, runs, and sports activities ongoing, do not be surprised to see ‘fit and trim’ UPAASians!
This will also be an opportunity for applicants and interested UP alumni to come forward and join the organisation so invite people you know.
We will need some volunteers to help out in the preparations or during the event, so if you’re interested, drop us an email .
About two weeks prior to the event, someone with a sweet friendly voice, or a husky low tone, might be calling you. Please do not be afraid – they are just the friendly UPAASian seeking your presence at the AGM.
