The Outstanding Filipinos in Singapore (TOFS) 2009

We are pleased to announce that our beloved organization, UPAAS, has been tapped by the Philippine Independence Day Celebration 2009 Committee to spearhead the search committee for “THE OUTSTANDING FILIPINOS IN SINGAPORE (TOFS) for 2009″

This is open to all Filipino citizens and persons of Filipino heritage legally residing and/or working in Singapore for at least two (2) years, who have actively contributed to the enhancement of the image of the Filipino and/or the promotion of Filipino heritage and culture.

We are also spearheading the search for “FILIPINO EXCELLENCE RECOGNITION 2009” which aims to recognize Filipino citizens or persons who have showcased the Filipino talent and who have received any formal recognition and/or award from the workplace or from reputable foreign institutions and organizations in Singapore . The recognition and/or award should have been given for the year 2008.
